Anthony was injured in a serious car wreck on the Island of Guam. He went from being an athletic young runner to a double amputee. Anthony had difficulty getting prosthetic care as there is no prosthetist on the island. We heard about his situation from a mutual friend who now lives in the US. Anthony flew in to see us and we were able to fit him with a pair of appropriately fitting prosthetics. Amber is a transfemoral amputee with a can do attitude that has taken her through the tough times in her prosthetic journey. Amber was riding with a friend when a driver under the influence of narcotics swerved and collided with her motorcycle, sending her flying into the drivers windshield. A few days later, the injuries she received led to amputation.
